01The basics
What is Solenna, exactly?
An AI companion for people cutting down or stopping weed. You text her or call her, she remembers your story, and she comes to you before the hours you find hard. There's no meeting to attend and nobody to explain yourself to.
Am I talking to AI or a person?
AI. We say so plainly because it matters - it's also exactly why she can answer at 2am on a Tuesday when no human in your life is available. She will never pretend to be a person, and she will never claim to be your therapist.
Is this therapy?
No. Solenna isn't therapy, medical care, or a crisis line, and she doesn't diagnose or treat anything. She's what fills the gap between appointments - or the gap when you don't have any. If you're already working with a therapist or a programme, it sits alongside that rather than replacing it.
Do I have to quit completely?
No. Cutting down counts, and so does a tolerance break. You tell her what you're aiming for, and you can change that whenever your goal changes.
I've tried to stop before and it didn't work.
Almost everyone has. Solenna doesn't treat a restart as a failure or wipe what came before it - the days you already did still happened, and she remembers what worked last time and what didn't.
02Privacy
Can anyone read my conversations?
No one reads them as a matter of course - not us, and not anyone in your life. The narrow exceptions are a safety review or a bug you report to us with a transcript attached, and those are logged. We never sell your data and we don't advertise against what you say.
Will anyone find out I'm using Solenna?
Not from us. We don't post anything, we don't ask for your contacts, and we never tell anyone in your life that you're here. Notifications don't name what they're about on your lock screen - if someone glances at your phone, they see "Solenna" and nothing else.
What does she actually remember about me?
Whatever you've told her: why you're stopping, your triggers, the hours you find hard, your start date, your day count. That's the product - it's how you avoid explaining yourself from scratch every time.
You can read the whole list, correct anything that's wrong, and delete any single entry.
Are Secret Circles really anonymous?
You appear as an alias you choose, never your name. No photos, no contact matching, nothing that links a post back to you. Anything you write is visible to other members of that room, so treat it as public inside the room - but nobody you know can find you there.
Can I delete everything?
Yes. Delete your account and your profile, your memories and your conversations go with it - we keep only what the law requires, like payment records. You can also export a copy first.
03Day to day
What happens if I message her in the middle of a craving?
She answers. There's no queue and no waiting room, and she already knows your day count and your patterns, so the first message isn't you filling in background. If typing is too much, you can move to a call in one tap and it keeps the same thread.
Can I actually talk to her out loud?
Yes - voice or text, from day one, with the same memory either way. Some nights writing it down is easier; some nights saying it out loud in a dark room is the only thing that works.
Is there anything to do in it besides talk?
Yes - that's the porch. Something new to read every day, written by Solenna and chosen for the week you're in: short pieces on what's actually happening to you, plus sounds grouped by what they're for rather than what they are - to settle, to focus, for sleep.
Nothing to search and nothing to scroll past. It's what's there on the nights you don't want to talk to anyone, including her.
How often will she message me?
Once a day at most, and usually less. She arrives before hours you've named as hard, or ones she's noticed. Never a countdown, never a guilt trip, and nothing at 3am unless 3am is yours.
Turn check-ins off in one tap and they stay off - it's still there the moment you open it.
What if I slip?
You tell her, and she doesn't lecture you. Nothing you've built disappears - the garden keeps everything, and the count starts again from the day you're on. Slipping is what almost everyone does on the way to stopping.
What's the garden about?
Instead of opening the app to a chart, you open it to a place: ground, a house with your name on the sign, and Solenna already out there in it. Every day you clear grows something new.
It's yours to rearrange, and nobody sees it unless you invite them in.
04Money
What does it cost?
The first week is free and it's the full product, not a trimmed version. After that it's a monthly plan, and you'll see the exact price before anything is charged.
Is the free week actually free?
Yes. Your card goes on file at the start, nothing is charged until day seven, and we tell you before the week ends - in the app and as a notification. No quiet charge on a day you forgot about.
How do I cancel?
Through your app store, any time, in a couple of taps. Access runs to the end of the period you've paid for, and we don't make you talk to anyone to leave.
Is crisis support behind the paywall?
No, and it never will be. If you're in danger, Solenna points you to real human support before anything else - free, on any plan, whether or not you're paying.
